My responce to Thomas Paine: The American Crisis
The passage is about everything that happens in life has an affect on the world around us. It does not matter where you live or who you are; any mistakes made will effect each and everyone of us no matter who we are. "God may bless you. It matters not where you live, or what rank of life you hold, the evil or the blessing will reach you all." Since everyone does suffer the most honorable thing to do in a time of crisis is stand strong. Our countries greatest leaders were those who were able to learn from the trouble and grow from it. "I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection." This quote defines a very honorable and courageous leader and a piece of advice to all of what we should do in time of crisis.
